CONCEPTUAL STUMBLINGS:THE RECASTING OF CHILEAN ART (CHILE / USA)

Conceptual Stumblings reviews the last 40 years of visual arts in Chile, establishing a dialogue among the most prominent Chilean artists and art historian and a group of American scholars.

Harvard RLL Professor, Sergio Delgado, visited Chile to participate in a public lecture and a student workshop at Universidad Católica de Chile.

Book launching (Spanish and Portuguese versions,) seminar and exhibition related to the Ecological Urbanism book/ research.  

ARTS@DRCLAS OVERSEAS FACULTY SERIES: KRZYSZTOF WODICZKO (CHILE)
Harvard GSD Professor, Krzysztof Wodiczko visited Chile to participate in a public lecture and a student workshop at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez's School of Design.

ARTS@DRCLAS OVERSEAS FACULTY SERIES: RAHUL MEHROTRA (CHILE)
Harvard GSD Chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Design, Rahul Mehrotra visited Chile to participate in an academic panel, a public lecture and a case study field trip.

ARTS@DRCLAS OVERSEAS FACULTY SERIES: HAYDEN GUEST (CHILE)
Harvard Film Archive Director Haden Guest visited Chile to participate in the Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia and in a seminar in Santiago organized in collaboration with the Universidad Católica de Chile and the Cineteca Nacional de Chile.

ARTS@DRCLAS BOOK PRESENTATION (BRAZIL)
Julio Martins, curator of the 2012 ARTS @DRCLAS Fall exhibition, presented the book "through the surface of the pages…" at the fifth edition of the Feira de Arte Impressa Tijuana in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

 ARTS@DRCLAS OVERSEAS FACULTY SERIES: C-41 ARTIST RESIDENCY (GUATEMALA)
Artist residency where a group of artists has been invited to produce interventions in the Space of Concepcion 41 (Antigua,Guatemala) in relation to the idea of art as a form of knowledge and its relationship with other fields of knowledge, particularly the sciences.

ARTS@DRCLAS OVERSEAS FACULTY SERIES: FESTIVAL DE POESIA: LA RETAGUARDIA (CHILE)
Featuring contemporary poetry from Argentina, Peru and Chile. Poetry readings at Museo de Artes Visuales (MAVI) Poetry workshop at cultural center Balmaceda1215 and poetry round tables at Diego Portales University.
