DRCLAS Internship Program in Brazil
Backed by the DRCLAS Brazil Office in São Paulo and the Brazil Studies Program at Harvard, this program provides individualized support and advice to students during each stage of the internship process. Internships are developed based on each student's concentration and professional objectives and included individualized support.
The program starts with an intensive week-long orientation with lectures in Portuguese and site visits that allow students to experience Brazil's economic, cultural, social, and political contexts. During the first week of orientation, our team introduces students to carefully selected host organizations and local mentors. Beginning in the second week, students work full-time five days a week. In order to foster interaction with some of Brazil's leading academic, policy, artistic, and social leaders, the program includes weekly activities and visits that are coordinated by the Brazil Office.
