On May 9th and 10th, 2014, DRCLAS celebrated its 20th Anniversary at the annual Advisory Committee meeting. DRCLAS was founded in 1994 with the generous support of Mr. David Rockefeller. Then-President of Harvard Neil Rudenstine summarized the Center's objectives: to expand and strengthen research and teaching on Latin America at Harvard; to develop closer ties between Harvard and institutions throughout Latin America, and to promote understanding in the US of the cultures, histories, and contemporary affairs of the Latin American nations. Moore Moscowitz Design created this exhibition to commemorate the 20th Anniversary. The exhibition was initially displayed on the concourse level of the Center for Government and International Studies, and then was brought to the DRCLAS offices on the 2nd floor of the building.
May 10 - December 2014.
