John Macomber is a Senior Lecturer in the Finance unit at Harvard Business School. At HBS, Mr. Macomber's work focuses on climate adaptation and the future of cities, particularly as aided by the private finance and delivery of public infrastructure projects in both the developed and emerging worlds. He is engaged in the Business and Environment Initiative and Social Enterprise Initiatives at HBS and is Faculty Chair of the HBS Africa Research Center. Mr. Macomber was an executive in real estate and construction before joining the HBS faculty.

Rosa Lemos de Sá is the Secretary-General of Funbio since January 2010. Previously, she led the Andes-Amazon Initiative of the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation between 2006 and 2009, and worked at WWF-Brazil for 10 years, occupying the position of Director of Conservation from 2003 to 2006. She has extensive experience in Protected Area Programs and reforestation and has studied an endangered and endemic species of primates as well as the impact of a hydroelectric dam on wildlife population in Brazil as a Master's and Ph.D. student, respectively. Rosa graduated in Wildlife Management from the University of Wisconsin (USA), has an MS in Ecology at the University of Brasilia (Brazil), and a Ph.D. in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Florida (USA).

Carlos Nobre graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) and holds a Ph.D. in Meteorology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is co-chair of the Scientific Panel for the Amazon and general director of Project Amazonia 4.0. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Science, the World Academy of Sciences, and a foreign member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. Carlos was one of the authors of the Fourth Evaluation Report of the IPCC, the team that was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

Marcelo Behar is a sociologist and a lawyer who graduated from the University of São Paulo, in Brazil. He has worked in many NGOs and as a journalist on Foreign Politics at Folha de São Paulo. He served the Brazilian government in the Justice (as Chief-of-Staff and responsible for the Brazilian Disarmament Campaign) and Strategic Affairs Ministries (as Vice-Minister) from 2003 to 2009. Marcelo joined Natura&Co in 2013. He is currently the Vice President of Sustainability and Group Affairs for Natura the global beauty group that comprises Avon, Natura, The Body Shop, and Aesop, and which is committed to addressing the climate crisis, protecting the Amazon, defending Human Rights, and embracing circularity.

Denis Minev is CEO of Bemol, retail, financial services, and renewable energy group based in the Brazilian Amazon. In 2012 he was nominated a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. Denis served as Secretary for Planning and Economic Development of the state of Amazonas in Brazil and previously worked as a financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He co-founded three NGOs, Fundação Amazonas Sustentável, Museu da Amazônia and Parceiros Pela Amazônia. Denis holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA and MA from Stanford University.
