Date:

Monday, October 30, 2017, 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Location:

Corrientes 348 Restaurant - Av. Infante Dom Henrique, s/n - Marina da Glória, Rio de Janeiro - RJ

Speaker: Richard Freeman

In a May-June 2016 Harvard Magazine article, Who Owns the Robots Rules the World, Professor Richard Freeman states "we should worry less about the potential displacement of human labor by robots than about how to share fairly across society the prosperity that the robots produce." How might governments and private firms ensure that technological advances lead to prosperity throughout society? What ideas should leaders of emerging economies think to consider?

We hope you will join us for a small, informal conversation on this momentous topic. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
