Panel Discussion: Arts Education and Social Empowerment: The Case of ProyectArte

The Arts Education and Social Empowerment panel will bring together arts education leaders from Argentina and Boston to discuss the role of the arts in promoting youth empowerment and social agency. Cultural Agents director Professor Doris Sommer will join members of Harvard and Boston-based arts groups in a public conversation with the founder of ProyectArte, an innovative, social equality-oriented art school located in Buenos Aires and recent Proyectarte graduate Paloma Marquez. 

An exhibit with a selection of works from proyectArte’ students and graduates will be on display at the Center From March8 to June 4.
