Speaker: Peter Andreas John Hay Professor of International Studies Brown University Peter Andreas will discuss his new book a political memoir described by the New York Times as "thoroughly engrossing " about his childhood on the run in South America with his Mennonite-turned-Marxist mother. Peter Andreas is the John Hay Professor of International Studies at Brown University where he holds a joint appointment between the department of political science and the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Andreas has published ten books and has also written for a wide range of publications such as Foreign Affairs Foreign Policy The Nation Slate Harpers Washington Post and the New York Times.
