Speaker: Pedro Reina Pérez, Director of the Harvard Puerto Rico Institute; Former Wilbur Marvin Visiting Scholar at DRCLAS

Pedro Reina Pérez is an award-winning historian and journalist specializing in contemporary Spanish Caribbean history and is the director of the Harvard Puerto Rico Winter Institute. He will be sharing insight on the historical relationship between the United States and Puerto Rico and will provide a contemporary context on the rebuilding efforts of the island post-Hurricane Maria.
