DRCLAS Executive Committee

Fifteen senior faculty members who serve three-year renewable terms meet with the Director and Executive Director each month to advise on Center policies and operations (list below).

DRCLAS Policy Committee

Faculty from eight graduate and professional schools, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences meet each year to guide the Center's development and to recommend candidates for the Robert F. Kennedy Visiting Professorship of Latin American Studies to the President of the University. Typically, a number of special guests are also invited to join the meeting (including visiting faculty, special staff, etc). Over one hundred members of the Faculty serve on the Center's Policy Committee (list below).

Brazil Office Governance

A vibrant University-wide community of scholars helps us pursue our mission of increasing the knowledge and study of Brazil through research, teaching, enhanced language training, faculty and student travel, conferences and seminars, publishing about Brazil. Ongoing interaction with individual Faculty Advisors allows us to identify and support existing projects and opportunities, playing a key role in our efforts to link Harvard faculty and students with very best Brazilian faculty and students across disciplines.
