Indigenous Language Study Stipend

Next Deadline: TBC

Overview

The DRCLAS Indigenous Language Study Stipend supports Harvard students in pursuing substantive programming geared at developing or improving indigenous language skills which relate to the region.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students pursuing indigenous language study related to Latin America and/or the Caribbean are eligible to apply.

Students may pursue programs, courses, or study in another manner so long as they directly engage with the indigenous languages from Latin America and/or the Caribbean. Priority will be given to students whose study is demonstrated to be directly related to their academic and/or career goals. This stipend is intended to assist programs and courses for students that otherwise do not have access to financial support, though it is not intended to cover all expenses. Students are encouraged to apply to other funding sources as well.
