Looking Out for the Queer in Latin American Film

Looking Out for the Queer in Latin American Film brings together a small but varied selection of films: portraits of queer life in Latin America. The curious gaze of the onlooker, desire as a way of seeing, the eye that looks out in a tender act of caring: these are the forms of attention we seek to study and cultivate in this year-long series of Latin American films. Join us for film screenings followed by audience discussion and community building facilitated by Harvard faculty.

The films included in this series are:

Chavela In collaboration with BLIFF

I Dream In Another Language In collaboration with BLIFF

Mami y Yo y mi Gallito

El Lugar Sin Límites

Carmin Tropical
