We are happy to announce the new issue of Cuban Studies, CS49. The number features three dossiers pushing the field in new compelling directions. The first dossier explores debates in contemporary Cuban gender studies and feminism. A second dossier examines the Cuban economy from a comparative Latin American perspective. A final dossier rethinks the formation of Cuban citizenship through the history of the education system. This issue is accompanied by a number of primary sources on the establishment of Cuba's famed biotechnology sector and a poetic meditation on "visit-returns" to Havana. We hope you enjoy the read!
