Funds for this purpose are limited, so applicants should seek other sources of conference funding (including DRCLAS faculty conference grants). Maximum awards are $20,000. We will fund only two categories of scholars: 1) Those working at a Brazilian institution; 2) those presenting a paper about Brazil.
How to Apply?

- A detailed project budget that justifies each item.
Application materials should be sent in a single email to Tiago Genoveze (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the subject "Application to BSP Funding - Partial Research Conference Funding".
Deadline: March 8, 2020. All applications will be peer reviewed.
All grant recipients will be asked, as a condition of their acceptance of the award, to submit a follow-up report describing their outcomes and the expenses associated with their project. All recipients must notify the Brazil Studies program of other funding they receive for the same project. Awards will be adjusted in cases of duplicate funding for the same items.
