Eric Rubin

Eric Rubin is an American microbiologist currently the Irene Heinz Given Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases as well as Chair of the Department at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His current concerns are tuberculosis and its infections and his research is commonly cited. He holds an MD from the School of Medicine as well as a PhD from the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University.

In 2019, Dr. Rubin was named the editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine.
