Juana García Duque is Associate Professor at the Business School from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. Her research activity in international development includes: (i) the role of international cooperation and private sector in peacebuilding process and the study of (ii) internationalization and emerging economies. She is part of the Academic Committee of the MA degree in Peacebuilding, and coordinates several of the projects of the University regarding peace, such as the Research for Peace Portfolio. She has led “Día Paíz”, a day in which the University replaces its usual scheduled classes and opens places and fora for reflection on the role of the University in peacebuilding and the construction of a better country. Juana also leads the participation of Universidad de los Andes with the Colombian Agency for the Reintegration of Ex-combatants, documenting the process of reintegration and reincorporation and the engagement of multiple society stakeholders, including business organizations.
RESEARCH PROJECT: The Role of International Cooperation and the Private Sector in Peacebuilding: The Colombian Case
