Rachel Murray-Crawford joined the David Rockefeller Center in 2011 after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Spanish and a specialization in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She currently works alongside the staff in each DRCLAS office to build and execute student services enabling academic, professional, and personal growth. Rachel also oversees several student activities based in Cambridge, including the Certificate in Latin American Studies, Thesis Prizes, and Student Group Grants. Rachel has traveled extensively throughout Mexico and Ecuador, and has spent time in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Nicaragua. She hopes to visit more countries in the region soon! In May of 2019, Rachel earned her EdM within the Language & Literacy program at HGSE, with a focus on heritage language maintenance among Latinxs in the United States. As of AY 2019-2020, she is a proctor for first-year students at the College as well. She especially loves reggaeton and visitors in her office- stop by to enjoy some beats!
