Rachel Murray-Crawford (she/ella) joined the David Rockefeller Center in 2011 after graduating from Michigan State University where she studied Spanish and specialized in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She earned her EdM in 2019 through the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on heritage language and culture-based educational programs, while still working at DRCLAS. Rachel currently collaborates with the staff in each DRCLAS office to build and execute responsive and meaningful student opportunities in the region that enable academic, professional, and personal growth. Rachel also oversees several student activities based on campus, including DRCLAS Cambridge internships, the Certificate in Latin American Studies, Thesis Prizes, Travel Fellowships, and various grant programs. She previously served as a first-year proctor for Harvard College, as well as an academic advisor. Rachel is enthusiastic about engaging with students from all schools and hopes to create an uplifting and empowering energy when with them. She also works as a group fitness instructor for The Handle Bar, where she enjoys motivating the community while cycling to reggaeton hits!
