Porto Digital is an open and urban technology park that was born in 2000 in Recife, Pernambuco. It is managed by “Núcleo de Gestão do Porto Digital”, a Social Organization and a private non-profit institution, accredited by the State and Municipal Government to implement non-exclusive public policies. Its purpose is to create a world class cluster of technological development and innovation in ICTs and Creative Economy, besides regenerating the empty and degraded historical urban fabric of the city.
