Join us for the launch of the Fall issue of ReVista, “Queer in Latin America: LGBTQ+ Perspectives”. The issue focuses on a variety of themes, ranging from arts and culture to the trans community to thinking on the queer in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Latinx community. A reception will follow. 

Speakers Jorge Sánchez Cruz, Lecturer of History and Literature at Harvard University, Alexandra Arana Blas, Ph.D. student at the University of Pittsburgh, Moisés Lino e Silva, Visiting Associate Professor in Women and Gender Studies at Harvard University, Alejandra Ramos Gómez, iTeaching Fellow for the Human Development and Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Moderated by Estef Calderón, Ph.D. student at Boston University.

Jorge Sánchez Cruz is a native of the central region (Mixtec/Zapotec) of Oaxaca and Lecturer of History and Literature at Harvard University. Alexandra Arana Blas is a Peruvian graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. Moisés Lino e Silva is a Visiting Associate Professor in Women and Gender Studies at Harvard University., whose home institution is The Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), in Brazil. Alejandra Ramos Gómez, an educational consultant and multidisciplinary artist from Juarez, is a Teaching Fellow for the Human Development and Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
